Vegetable and Chicken Stir-fry

1 package (454 g) whole wheat rotini
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 small zucchini (thinly sliced)
1 cup fresh mushrooms (thinly sliced)
1 onion (diced)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 can (14 oz, 3998 mL) diced tomatoes (undrained)
1 cup cooked chicken (cubed)
½ cup water
1 tsp dried basil
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper

Heat oil n a large skillet and cook garlic and oinions until golden. Add zucchini and mushrooms and cook until tender but not brown. Add remaining ingredients except pasta. Simmer 15 minutes. Cook pasta according to directions on package. Serve chicken and vegetables over pasta.
