Undeclared Soy in Pediatric Vitamin D

There is undeclared soy in JAMP-Vitamin D, sold in Quebec.  The company confirmed to us that the  ingredient “Vegetable Glycerin” is soy-based.  The product is distributed over the counter and by prescription at Walmart and other pharmacies.  The pharmacists we spoke to were unaware of the problem (or that it could even be a problem).

Pediavit-D remains a safe source of vitamin D for breastfeeding infants with milk and soy intolerance.
